Hi, sorry for being away for so long, I've had a lot on in my life recently and havn't had the time to concentrate on my art or the blogging. I've had so much on that I was actually on my way to opting out of university. So I have got my life back on track and so here I am.
I found out that my second year is experimental illustration so awhile ago I decided to try something different. I love cooking and baking so decided to try a fancy cake. So I made the design based on Alice In Wonderland which I liked. So then I got the recipe for a cake and started making it. Then I got the icing and food colouring and mixed them together to get th colour I wanted. Then I cut out shapes and put them together. So as you go through the images taken you will see the process of how I made the cake.

Harrods and McLaren
Just had to put these pictures up took these not to long ago. On the left is theMcLaren mp4-12c. It's just a sexy car that I seen in London at the McLaren garage. Thought I would let everyone know that you can go see this for yourself in London lol thats if you want to. Also below is the McLaren F1 car that Lewis Hamilton won the grand prix championship in. I think thats a well sepent day out and about just randomly seeing these was pretty happy with myself.
I thought Id put these up not just for the shear fact that I seen them, but also because I love my cars, and I love the design of cars. I love they are made, brought together and these two cars in my eyes are just gorgeous the designer who I need to find out his/her name as I would to find out what else they have designed. Product design is a fascinating subject that I would like to explore so you may get more from me about that.
Now on the left and bottom right I had to put these picture up on my blog. I think they are just brilliant. They are photos taken in Harrods toy section. Whoever made these deserve a high five. They class looking aren't they. Both are made out of tiny lego pieces. I find it so fascinating because I know when I was a child every Christmas I would ask Santa for lego. I just loved it I had so much of it I could make anything from it. I have stars ships, ferrari cars, different cars, everything. I wasn't spoilt, just at Christmas Id ask for lego only thing I wanted. So when I seen this, aw I would love to have the time and lego pieces to create a piece of art from lego, I personally see it as a brlliant idea, my tutor may not think so (sorry steve) but this would be awesome :)

National History Musuem
Hey sorry for not blogging in a few days but I have been away working at Sonisphere festival (which was sick btw) so yeah havn't been able to blog. Well just before I left my family came over to London to visit me which was good, so I thought I would take them to the National History Museum because my father likes things like that. Well it was actually extremely interesting, fun to look and all the weird creatures and fossils and stuff. I have a few pics of when I was there, sorry about the quality, looked better when I took the photo but just had bit of a shaky hand that day.
Top left is a Mammoth which is massive, if you ever get a chance to go definatly go check out the mammoth couldn't believe how big they are, its crazy.
To the left is a dinosaur forgot what it was called but pretty awesome creature.
To my right is part of a tree trunk which was cut out in 1892. It is a mature Giant Sequoia. Now speaking of massive this thing was just huge. It said it takes on average 9 men, 12 days to cut them down, thats mental so you can imagine how big they are. Well I really enjoyed myself at the National History Museum so if you do get a chance, go, its well worth it some amazing stuff you find in there. Well tomorrow I'm thinking of visting the TATE gallery so I'm looking forward to that, I will have a blog up about it and pictures of course. So see you soon.

First Blog
Hi, wel this is my first blog that I have done. I am a student UCLAN university, studying Illustration, just finished my first year, so I'm on my summer break. I am from Strabane in Ireland, but for the summer I have moved to London living in Islington, really posh please, love it here, just living with a mate and his parents so its all good. I moved here basically to get myself some work so I can save money for when I go back to University in September. I got myself a job, well two actually, I'm working for two different companies that are basically the same, working as bar staff at events around the UK. I have worked at Hyde Park for Kings of Leon, Killers, Bon Jovi, and tomorrow I'm starting Wireless festival which is going to be a blast. Then I'm also working at Sonisphere festival, and different work so I'm really enjoying myself. Well I will be trying to post at least two blogs a week so stay tuned. I will have to get a picture up as well because there is a Banksy piece just around the corner from my house and Banksy is one of my favourite graffiti artists he is amazing, so that gives you something to look forward to. My parents are flying over to see me this weekend so I'm going to take them to TATE and different galleries so that should be fun and I will write blogs about that as well. So thanks for reading and stay tuned :)
